Just a really interesting jelly fish, seen at Scarista, Harris, today

Anyone know any more detail about this species?

Your jelly fish is the Common Jellyfish (Aurelia aurita). The four purple gonads rings are diagnostic.
OHBR would appreciate your record (records@ohbr.org.uk) which should include the date and grid reference.
