At last a bumblebee, White-tailed Bumblebee B. lucorum on spring flowering heather in the garden, Askernish today.

Heard and saw briefly an unidentified one at North Loch Eynort yesterday evening.
It was around a patch of willow catkins/buds

At last the White-tailed Bumblebees have appeared in the garden at Ardivachar. Better late than never!
